@aLLeYNe_tEMuS i’ve been listening to your music on NumberOneMusic for about the past three hours. && i really wanted to tell you, i’m so glad you do what you do. i love it. p.s. i hope you have a freakin amazing day today.
It’s back to business as usual. It’s Twenty-Ten and we gotta get “PUSH” out. Before we get back to work, I (aLLeYNe) can’t help but think back to my time in Europe. Andrew my brother was also in Europe while I was there, though we didn’t get a chance to link up. However he is the one who wrote and performed the spoken word poem divided into four parts on the “PUSH” album. In this episode he’s not only going to perform the original recording but share his photos of his journey. The poem is very deep, the perfect way to start your journey into 2010. On behalf of tEMuS and I Happy New Year!!! Wishing all the fans the best for a prosperous, healthy and safe new year. God bless, Thanks for your support and keep an eye out for big things this year!!! www.lifeunscripted.ca
We spent the weekend diggin’ through piles of disks from my Ensoniq ASR 10.
Forgotten beats and songs thought to be lost. It was like Xmas.
One beat we were very stoked to find was ” Memory Lane” a beat produced in, well around 2004, roughly. We are using it on PUSH and bumping “Rim Shot featuring flautist Jef kearns” to the next project. When you are blessed to get some-one like Jef you need to spread him out to other projects. On PUSH he’s already in “The Buttery Effect”
Anyways…
The beats are diffinately on a different level as we’ve progressed so much from that period. We managed to divide the beats into to piles. One for the Limestone Studios Beat Store and the other for possible consideration for future aLLeYNe & tEMuS projects. They will have to be updated but they do form a great foundation. We’ll see how it goes and we’ll keep you posted.
It’s the final leg of the journey for aLLeYNe. As much as he doesn’t want to leave he has to return to finish up the new album PUSH with tEMuS. Trogir is like a smaller version of Split but still unique. Brac has the best beach out of all the beaches…worth the ferry ride. Then it’s back to Toronto…

The Beach. Nice weather, the adriatic sea’s salt water, water soccer polo, volley ball, girls, an ice cold beer, great music, kids laughing, ships cruising by, sun tanning and not a single cloud in sight. Not being a strong swimmer does not slow aLLeYNe from getting in there and splashing about. Like a fish once in there is no getting out!!! Plus aLLeYNe investigates the secret parts of Dioklecijans Palace.
Alleyne & Temus talk about the meaning behind the song "Fingers & Toes (Dontae's Theme)" from their latest album PUSH "The song is about how hip hop has changed so much over the years. It went from being underground to being pop. This generation is different from the generation Temus and I grew up in. Through this song, our album […]
